Since Sydney was born, we have made a fun tradition putting out carrots and water for Santa's reindeer.
Christmas morning Sydney runs outside and finds that the reindeer have eaten the carrots and drank the water.
Sydney remembers last year when the reindeer kicked the bucket of water over and left little carrot pieces everywhere. She said that they were messy.
Shortly after setting up for the reindeer to come and putting cookies and milk out for Santa, we always wait for the sound of jingle bells. Last night the sound of the bells came while we were having cookies and hot chocolate. WOW! When those bells rang, Sydney jumped right off her chair and hopped into bed. "He's coming....he's coming. Hurry everyone, he's coming! Santa is on his way.....better get to bed."
