Bowling with the boys.

We took Sydney and Camden bowling with their cousin Carter during our Christmas vacation. Boy, they look related.

This is the first time that Sydney decided and demanded that she use the holes in the bowling ball even though it probably hurt her hand more than help her game. She was very determined to make it work.

Camden's ball would start off with a hard thud and rolled painfully slowly down the lane. He would get so excited when he first let the ball go but didn't even watch the remaining 45 seconds of the ball's slow exodus down the lane. Sometimes we had to hold him back from rolling a second ball while the first one was still rolling.

Sydney was very excited about her 5 "stripes"! If you look closely, you'll see she got one strike and 4 spares. The kids played really well with each other and kept very good track of whose turn was next. They really didn't need any parents with them that day except for the cash to play.
