Fun at the airport!

When I was little, I remember my parents taking me and my brother to the airport to just watch the airplanes land and take off. You can't just go to the airport anymore to watch the planes since security has gotten tighter. But when we have a chance to fly, my kids love to watch the airplanes like I did. What kid doesn't like watching airplanes?

We took a quick trip to Utah this past weekend to meet their cousin Lily and see Papa Shaw who has been working in the Philippines for the past 8 months. Ever since Sydney was 18 months old, Sydney has always pat their hands to their laps and say "pat, pat, pat, pat..." like they do on Little Einsteins during take off. The patting gives the plane more power to blast off. They pat their hands faster and faster and yell BLASTOFF! The people around us always get a kick out of it.

My kids also love the baggage claim area! They always have an audience watching them while we are waiting for their bags. They both HAVE TO touch every bag that goes around and help push them along.
