What Have We Been Up Too?

I'm so behind and thought after my last post on September 22, 2010 would have been the end of "not blog posting", but nope....just got too busy. So here is a peek into the last month in a half. I will have to add details later....
September 25 - My weekends have been filled with photo shoots. This photo shoot was taken for At Home Realty for the Tracy Press Newspaper. They were winners of the "Best of Tracy" award.

Every Monday, Tuesday and Friday Sydney has dance after school. She is pretty lucky to be in class with so many of her school friends. Camden also takes hip-hop on Thursdays and loves it!

Another photo shoot. Defiantly not the easiest one I have done, but still had fun.

Our family went to a Giants game thanks to our neighbor Daryl. He wanted treat our family. Sydney LOVED it. Camden thought the seats were scary and that we were all going to fall so he did not like it when fans would stand up and cheer. There were tears. He had the death grip on the arms rests.
We happened to go on a day when they opened the field for the kids to run the bases. So cool!

Another photo shoot for realty business cards. This woman cracked me up...it was all laughs.

Anson and I actually had an all day date (hiking to Point Reyes)! It was weird to not have to worry about the kids ALL day.

Had the privilege to capture the engagement of Stephanie and Emil. Emil out did himself on the proposal. Stephanie gets to tell the coolest engagement story forever! Congrats you two!

Sydney attended her friends, Dani, baptism. It's hard to believe Sydney's is right around the corner.

Busy picture taking month....another photo shoot for this cute couple. Engagement pictures for Lexi and Steve!

Teaching my daily art 4th grade class. It's been ok/fun.
I took Sydney to the required makeup counter to purchase her make up for the Performance Art group she dances with. The instructor would like to have all the girls look the same (makeup) when they perform. Sydney loved her pampering moment.

Yikes! Where did my sweet 7 year old go?!?! I wasn't to thrilled about the look, but Sydney was thrilled and shocked that that was her. I have to remember stage makeup is more intense, but still....where did my baby go?

Sports day at school! Go 49ners!

It's apple time! Added apples to the classroom tree.

Quick road trip! Thanks to Tamera (in the orange), she got us all Ellen Degeneres tickets!!! We left at 11:00 a.m., arrived LA around 5:00ish. Hit Disneyland from 6:00 - to closing. Woke up the next day and visited Walt Disney's & Michael Jackson's grave site at the 2nd coolest cemetery I've been too. (1st coolest one, the Arlington cemetery in Boston!) Next, off to the Ellen show!
Audience is asked to be there by 2:30. While waiting for the show to start, the audience members are asked if anyone has any party tricks or talents to share. I run up there and do my "skin the cat" move using a broom stick. It was so fun and I got a great reaction from the crowd. I'm asked to fill out some paperwork and told that I should hear back from them to be a guest to show off my talent! Watched the taping of Ellen! Saw So You Think You Can Dance dancers perform, Lauren Gram (sp?), Jersey Shore and 3 live performances from Usher. It was very fun day full of no regrets. Jumped back into the car by 7:30 p.m. and home by 12:30 a.m.

Came back from my quick trip to LA to set up for our one week book fair for the school. I had an awesome group of ladies who made this happened. When all said and done, we sold $11, 000 in merchandise over the week.

Took the girls to the Performance Art class not to dance, but to practice putting their makeup on. I'm guessing this class was more for the older girls, but the younger ones were invited and encouraged to keep practicing.....

ummmmm.....Yep, need more practice. I thought it was the funniest thing to watch. They were all trying so hard and were very proud of themselves. Still makes me laugh!

Anson was able to take a day off of work, so we took a quick weekend trip to Disneyland for the Halloween experience. (Sorry to all of our LA family and friends that we didn't hook up. The trip was quick and short.)
As we are driving home from Disneyland, all throats were hurting but mine. I took a peek and look what I found. Strep! I love that I can take pictures, upload them to the doctor, no co-pay needed and prescription is waiting for you. Drug for Anson and and the kids!

Photo shoot! This wedding had the potential of having the most beautiful photos. It was taking place at a beautiful ranch with nothing surrounding the property, but it decided to rain. It was a little tricky, wet, cold, but did the best that could be done.

Looks like the leaves are starting to change. Fall is coming!

**Sigh** I was asked and agreed to be in charge of Sydney's Dance Company's fundraiser. They sold the most fancy covered apples I have ever seen. All 320 of them!

Happy 39th Birthday Anson!

Sydney was given the opportunity to be a Hollywood star on the schools homecoming float. I was out of town that weekend so thanks to my girl neighbors they helped Sydney get all dolled up for the occasion.

If you look closely, Camden is being a paparazzi following the float.

Spirit week at school. Jammie day!

Sports day!
Boo! The Spider Ice Witch is here. Time to pull out my magic for the kids.

The leaves have all changed. It is fall!

Twin day!
These girls pulled of triplet day!

Carving pumpkins with our neighbors and friends. Poor Anson hasn't been around for about the last month, but mostly the last two weeks. Proposal writting time at work. He missed all the Halloween fun!
Dressed and ready for Friday Halloween fun at school!

I can finally see some resembulance. Most people think my kiddies look like Anson, but I think Camden and I look a lot like on this day.

I'm so lucky that I get to spend time with my kids at school even if I have to dress up to do so. I was able to do three 1-hour science show for all the K-4th grade students. Even though it was exhausting, it was worth it. The kids loved watching all the science magic that Spider Ice Witch Lora had to show.

Meeting up with some friends at the downtown trick or treating/parade in the rain!
Surprisingly, I watched several of the World Seriers games with my kids. Sydney LOVED it! When the Giants won the last game, the kids ran out into the street screaming the "Giants won!" She gathered all our male neighbors and talked players with them. Naming the players by name....I was shocked and impressed.

So there you have it! We have be running a little to fast and I know I am missing a few things, but at least I have touched base on a few important moments that have happened in the past month and half. I will need to add a few details or more pictures, but now I don't feel as bad for not blogging our memories. Now here is to having a little more time and to more blogging those important memories.
