She is just growing up too fast! She will be turning 8 in less than two weeks. My little girl isn't so much of a little girl anymore.
I have meant to post a little conversation I had with Sydney about two month ago, but just haven't gotten around to it. So here it is. Sydney approached me right out of the blue. I was a little surprised, but so grateful she came to me.
I have meant to post a little conversation I had with Sydney about two month ago, but just haven't gotten around to it. So here it is. Sydney approached me right out of the blue. I was a little surprised, but so grateful she came to me.Sydney: Mom, when will I get my training boobs?
Me: Huh?
Sydney: You know, when will I get my training boobs?
Me: *laughing inside* Well, not for a couple years. Why are you asking?
Sydney: I don't want to miss growing my boobs and I need training boobs, right?
Me: Oh, you mean a training bra. Well, you don't need one right now and a training bra doesn't make you boobs grow. They will start to grow and then you will need one.
Sydney: *Silent*
Me: *Silent watching her thinking.*
Sydney: OK mom! Just make sure to let know when they start growing so I can get my training boobs so they will grow more, ok mom? I don't want to miss it. *as she runs off*
Me: With a big smile, I told Sydney, "I will let you know when you know when you start to grow! :)
What a silly girl that "is" growing up!
