This past summer, Lauren our neighbor, was talking to the kids while they were swimming and the topic of camping came up in conversation. Sweet, sweet, sweet Lauren offered to take the kids back yard camping. I told her she didn't have too, but she insisted. I even followed up with her the following day and she told me the same thing and wanted to back yard camp with my kids.
My kids love Ms. Lauren and couldn't wait to spend a night away camping and what a treat for Anson and I. The whole family was going to have a fun Friday/Saturday adventure.
Since I love taking pictures of my kids having fun, I left my camera behind and asked, actually pleaded with Lauren to take pictures for me. It looks like they roasted marsh mellows.
Look at that blonde swimmer summer hair on those two cuties.
Lauren reported that the kids sleep great and all night long and actually didn't wake up until 8:30 when the dog came in to say hi. I was so relieved to hear....that means if Lauren didn't get any sleep it wasn't because of my kiddies.
Yummy french toast and fruit breakfast before they hit the road home from their overnight adventure.
