Yucky gross water! Who would swim in that? Nobody! Our pool went green a few weeks back and for some reason or another after spending MUCHO money on many different chemicals, we had to drain the darn thing. All 40,000 gallons! Literally pour money down the drain....makes me crazy.
Just like the last time we drained our pool, it is a pretty impressive site that a picture can not do justice. It is a ginormous hole in the ground. The kids, of course, are just as impressed and love to play inside the big concrete pit in the ground.
After grabbing a few shots for memory lane, the concrete pit became the back drop for our family photo shoot. Both Camden and Sydney wanted to take a turn behind the camera.
If anything has come good out of this was our family photo fun. Now it is time to fill the money pit back up with water and try to keep those chemicals balanced. When asked, "Do you like having a pool?" My answer is, "Yes, it's fun to have with the kids, but I wouldn't recommend putting one in....it costs a lot of money to maintain."
