Where do I start? My kids have learned so much from a very good and the best swim teacher ever. Stephanie has been teaching my kids for 3 years now and have taught them well. Since we have a pool at our home, Grandpa Shaw thought it would be a good idea that they have lessons to learn how to swim if they ever fall in. I thought it would be awhile until they would both be able to swim or even stay above water if they needed to, but they can!

Sydney has been a very good swimmer for the last two years. She started when she was 3 years old. This summer she has learned how to dive into the pool standing, dive in the very DEEP end of the pool to grab rings and do two somersaults in a row in the water. She has become very confident and fun to watch in the pool. Last year,
Stephanie taught Sydney how to do the butterfly stroke, probably one of the hardest of the four strokes. It is amazing to watch her swim the stroke with almost little effort. Way to go Sydney!

Camden is quite the little fish, but don't tell him that. I told him the other day that he is like a fish and he said, "Mommy, I can't be a fish. They can't breave underwater and I don't. I breave ontop of the water, Mommy. " Camden started lessons last year about one month after he turned 2. Stephanie got Camden swimming dolphin nose accross the short distance of the pool. I was amazed! Well, this year he has only gotten better with a lot of fun and new skills that seem pretty amazing for a 3 year old.

Camden has learned to front crawl with "BIG" arms accross the pool, float on his back with out any help, do a running front flip into the pool, somersaults in the water, pull himself out of the pool not using the steps and dive to the bottom of the pool to get several rings at a time. Even though he doesn't want to be called a fish....he is quite the fish!
