Sydney says, "Mommy, guess what?""What baby?"
"Jack picked me today for math!"
"He did?"
Sydney says shyly, "I think he might like me again. I don't know what it means? I think he is thinking about it."
I say, "Does that make you happy?
She says, "Yes, but I think he is thinking about it."
So there you have it! Jack is not out of the picture and Sydney informed me that her and her friend Emma think another boy in their class is cute. His name is Matthew. Ahhhh..... I know this is normal behavior, but for it to start the first week of school and my little girl likes boys at 5 years old!?!?! How is she going to be as a teenager? She is not a shy little girl.

That is pretty cute! I hope that she isn't too much trouble for you when she is a teenager. I wish i could go back to the 5 year old kind of love. Life would be so much easier that way.
You have made your first step onto a looooong road my friend. Why didn't they warn us when we were so happy to be buying cute clothes and baby bows????
Next thing you know you will find her out on the high school bleachers with some boys... look out.
