We went to San Fransisco for the day a couple weekends back. We started off at the Golden Gate Bridge Park. The kids loved it! They had a lot of neat and big play structures, but my kids favorite were the concrete slides. (click on the pictures for a closer look.)
You grab a piece of cardboard that has been there for weeks, I'm sure. Climb to the top of the steps, put your cardboard down on the slide, then your body and with a push there you go.
It helps if someone throws some sand on the slide right ahead of you as you are going down. It helps you go faster. The kids really loved going down the slides over, over, over, over, over, over and over again.

Man, that sure sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad we didn't do that one when we went to the park.
