Christmas Morning!

Oh my...Guess who was here? Yep, Santa Claus came here last night. He looks like he was a little messy. I told Sydney he was in a hurry.
The first evidence that Santa had been at Grandma and Papa's house was a letter written by Elroy left on the Christmas tree in the kitchen. Each Christmas eve Santa picks up Elroy for the trip home to the North Pole until he returns the next December.
Santa left some fun loot for the kids. Camden's is on the left and Sydney's on the right.
Let's not forget about Lily. She get's a couch of her own.
Every year when the kids wake up, Santa has left a pair of Christmas stockings at each bedroom door. We have to put our socks on before we go discover what Santa has left behind. Camden always takes an extra minute or two to wake up, unlike his sister who looks like she has been up and running for hours.
Waiting in the kitchen for all the adults to get up and ready. Do you remember waiting...waiting...waiting and waiting some more. It felt like an eternity when in reality probably only 3-5 minutes. Just sooo excited!
Camden's one and only request he wanted was Jenga! Lucky and happy boy finally got his Jenga game. He has been asking for this game for 6 months. I'm surprised I held out long for Santa to bring it. I so badly just wanted to give him the game since his request for the game began back in June, but I waited for Santa. It was the first thing he grabbed from the couch and tackled. Ahh...so easy to make happy and it was so inexpensive. I know that Santa only spent $8.00!
Sydney wanted a doll closet for her Fancy Nancy clothes. From the looks of that smile, Santa did good. She also got the Yahtzee game she had been asking for. My favorite request from Sydney was a first aide kit. I asked her why she wanted a first aide kit and she said, "So I can help people when they get hurt!" So if anyone has an owie that can wait a few minutes, we can be right over.
Santa manages to get a Whoppi Cushion in Camden's stocking every year. It never seems to last more than Christmas day, but it is so fun to hear Camden crack up with that very true and real giggle. What a goof!

Sydney gave us a good laugh when she yelled out, "Mom, mom, mom, mom, look! Santa got me a knitting kit. I'm like an old lady now!"
Reading a special letter written that Santa left for Sydney.

Lily trying out the doll clothes closet.
We are definitely at the perfect age for all that Christmas magic can bring. It was truly a fun Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.

One of Lily's favorite gifts was a grocery cart that went perfectly with her new play kitchen set.

My mom and Sarah got the coolest presents ever! And I mean ever! Once they figured out what they got, we had some really excited women who wanted to start cleaning. That's right, they both received Sargent Steam Cleaners! To throw the girls off, we only wrapped the accessories to cleaner so it took them a minute to figure out what they were looking at. We had the machines wrapped and hidden in the kitchen waiting for them. Way to go husbands! Great gifts.
Camden gave Papa a coin sorter and coin holders. One of Camden's favorite toys he owns.

About an hour and a half into our Christmas morning, Lily hit the wall. Way too much excitement for a sweet almost 2 year old little girl. She was snuggling on anyone's lap that would allow her. The fun had pooped Lily out.

What a great Christmas Day! How fun that we got to spend Christmas Eve and day with my brother and his family and Grandma and Papa. The kids had an absolutely great time.

Couldn't help but notice the movie "Trouble with Angels" in Sydney's pile. I saw the movie at Walmart and bought it a few months ago. It brought back fun memories of sleepovers at your house when we were kids.
