Christmas isn't Christmas if you don't take an afternoon making sugar cookies with Grandma K. We must make Santa some yummy treats for Christmas eve.

The kids had so much fun and Miss little Lily loved watching her cousins. Grandma K was doing her best helping each
grand kid with rolling out the dough, cookie cutting and decorating, but there is only one Grandma K to go around. The cookie making fun took on a whole new life of its own.

Lily was determined to cookie cut on Sydney's dough and even though Sydney did not like Lily touching her dough, she was so sweet to Lily. "Lily, no, no, no. Use your dough," and she would move Lily's arm over to her rolled out dough. She was being sweet with the way she was talking to Lily and staying calm, that I think Lily thought it was a game. Sarah, Lily's mom, stepped in to help redirect Lily and you could tell that Sydney was
relieved.

Uncle Anson taking a turn helping Lily!

Now when I mentioned earlier that cookie making took on a life of its own...this is what I was speaking of. Grandma finally
relinquished control and told the kids to just go for it. They had so much fun making any creation they wanted. The kitchen was covered in flour, sprinkles, dough and more flour, sprinkles and dough.

Look at those yummy cookies!

The pile of sprinkles where actually thinker than the cookie at times. Santa is one lucky Santa to get a couple of these freelanced cookies!

Packing and smashing in the sprinkles!

Lily was
hilarious. That girl was super focused. You couldn't stop her. She just went from sprinkle bottle to the next. She created probably the most expensive sugar cookies ever.

So there you have it! Our 3rd annual sugar cookie party at grandmas house.
Defiantly one to remember..... Thanks Grandma for making a fun and messy
memory with the kids. The messier the more fun you have, right?

So cute! I love how you described Syndney's reaction. And that Lily had to be stripped down...we do that often at our house! Your mom is one in a million.
