Did She Convince Him

I am still laughing as I try to write about these two cuties. If you haven't read the previous post below, you MUST read it first so you get the full story.

Just to give a time line, Anna had the "I want to marry Camden" conversation yesterday with her mom. Well this morning, we invited Anna over for a morning play date before they both go off to school. When I picked Anna up, Liz told me that Anna was going to try to convince Camden to marry her so she had a plan.

We all walked into the house after picking Anna up and the kids stayed in the kitchen to go through Anna's school backpack full of toys. I ran off to the office, but I could still hear them talking and laughing.

Well I notice that it had gotten pretty quiet and knowing about the conversation Anna had with her mom yesterday, I decided to go check on them without them being aware. I peeked around the corner and saw Camden sitting and Anna on all fours leaning towards Camden with puckered lips. Camden scoots back and Anna follows and leans in again with puckered lips.

Camden with a weird expression on his face: What are you doing?

Anna with a nervous smile: Trying to kiss you!

Camden scoots back again with a confused look and Anna follows and leans in for a kiss again. Camden stands up and says: I can't kiss you! I have kissed Hannah!

Anna: But I want to kiss you!

Camden with a serious tone, but kindly: I can't. I have kissed Hannah!

Anna with pleading eyes: But I want to marry you!

Camden gestering with his hands: I want to marry you AND Hannah, but I can't kiss you since I've kissed Hannah (at least he is being kissing loyal).

I was trying to laugh to myself, but I couldn't and since they heard me I decided to step in. I asked them what was going on and they pretty much told me exactly what I witnessed. I wonder if Anna will pursue again.....will she get her boy?

Well anyway, it was time to drive Anna to school. Before she hopped out of the car she gave Camden a big huge hug, which is normal, then snuck in a kiss on the cheek! She turned to me with a big smile and Camden looked a little embarrassed. Sneaky little Anna gave Camden a kiss....watch out Hannah. Anna made a move on your man! Camden is one lucky little boy!
