If I could share with you my dear,
the thoughts within my heart,
I would tell of my love for you,
although we’re now apart.
I think of all the joys we shared,
of the pain and sorrow too,
And give thanks unto the Lord
for the years I shared with you.

I would whisper each unspoken word,
do things I left undone,
That would have made your life with me,
a fuller, happier one.
I would tell you of my prayers to God
for strength and courage too,
That each precious child He gave to us,
I may bring home to you.
My prayers for faith that I may see
the wisdom of God’s plan,
That I may not always question, “Why?”
but say, “Thy will be done.”
The lonely way ahead is long
without your hand in mine,
But I pray that as I walk alone,
some happiness I’ll find.
May I so fill my mission here
that when the Lord says, “Come,”
I will find you waiting there to say,
“My darling, welcome home.”
We love and miss you Gramms!

Wow! What a surprise. What a great way to remember a wonderful lady. Thank you so much.
What a beautiful tribute. I loved seeing the pictures and reading the poem. Even though she wasn't mine, I loved seeing Gramma Glore every 4th of July!
