My kids older friend, Connor, got a little mouse recently that they have have fallen in love with. His name is Oreo. He is black with a white stripe in the middle, just like an oreo. They ask everyday if they can go see, touch and hold Oreo. I'm not too much of a fan of the little mouse, but boy my kids are. Sydney and Camden are so gentle, careful and have the biggest smiles while holding little Oreo.

Maren's class had pet rats last year and I could hardly stand it. They even had babies and Maren just couldn't understand why I didn't want to hold one?! I say that the best kinds of pets, though, are the ones that belong to other people! Our neighbors have a cat, dog, and guinea pig, and it's the best of both worlds. Do you still have Tiko?

it's been fun to hear from you. nope, our little teeko (bird) died right before we move to california. no pets for us. we do enjoy everyone elses pet though.
