Anson and I gave Sydney dance lessons for Christmas. Christmas morning she opened a box with ballet shoes and in the other tap shoes. She had been asking to take dance lessons for about 9 months so when she saw the shoes she was thrilled!
Here she is dressed and ready on her first day of lessons. Lessons are every Monday from 5:00 p.m. for a hour. Thirty minutes of ballet and followed by thirty minutes of tap.
She loves going each week and has the biggest smile on her face while doing it. Sydney has a lot of friends who are in soccer or softball and with her asthma we thought this would be easier on her and her health so we are lucky that her best friend from school, Emma, is in her class.You go Sydney!

Oh my goodness! That is the cutest post ever. She looks like such a beautiful ballerina. I am SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO proud! Look at those pointed toes! She's a natural!
I would agree, quite the natural! And there is nothing like a little girl who can't wait to go to dance class!
Don't try and tell me Sydney has not had lessons before. I know that Aunt Sarah is a dance instructor and she has spent a little time with her, but she looks like she was made especially for dancing!
