St. Patricks Celebration

Sydney and Camden were invited to a St. Patrick's party after school by their friends Emma and Allison. The kids met Emma's little cousins, Darion (sp?) and Daniella (again sp?). Thanks goodness for Camden. Finally, he had a play date with a little BOY his age.

The party started off with MogPog shamrocks. Camden loved it! He would put a piece of tissue paper down and then painted over it with starch.

Sydney....well, it stressed her out. She didn't like that when you painted over the tissue paper it would either move or tear. She had a hard time getting the concept.

After our art projects, each child got to make their own St. Patrick's pizza with green dough. For dinner we had green pizza, green grapes, green honey dew melon and green frosted sugar cookies with green mint chocolate chip ice cream. Yummy!

To wrap up the party, each child got a plate of shaving cream to play with. It was suppose to be green, but we decided to stick with white just in case it wouldn't come out of the clothes. When I handed Sydney her plate she said, "Hey this is the stuff my dad uses to make his face soft."

Camden had a blast with the stuff and had it everywhere. He was a lot less concerned getting it all over unlike his sister.
Thank you Emma and Allison for inviting us to your party!
