Sydney Update

Here we are at day two. Sydney did ok through the night, but is still needing oxygen assistance to keep her numbers up. I met with a great doctor today that said that he sees small improvement, but she still has a ways to go. We will probably have an x-ray done again tomorrow to see how her lungs are doing.

After a shower, new jammies and pony tails this morning Sydney said, "I feel much better. It's yucky to feel dirty."
Here she is doing "homework" that she made up to give her teachers at school when she gets back.

Here are my girls! One positive thing thing about our hospital visits is the staff. These girls have been Sydney's nurses for the last 4 times she has been admitted. We know them and they know and remember us. I can't tell you how nice it is to have familiar faces and the nicest people helping my sweet girl get better.

Around 2 p.m. today, Sydney hit her wall again and started feel crummy. Like wrote earlier, she is doing well, but not great yet. This afternoon she was still needing help to breath with oxygen and needing rescue medicine every 2-3 hours to help with the wheezing and tightening of her lungs. We are crossing our fingers that tonight she will not need as much oxygen to get through the night which gets us closer bringing her home.

***i just read over this post and i'm not sure if it makes sense or not. sorry. i wanted to post information and pictures for her grandparents.****

Poor baby and poor mommy and daddy too. I hope things go better today. Tell Sydney that we all are thinking of her and hope she feels better soon.
