Beach Fun After The Surprise!

About 30 seconds of hugs and hello's from David, Sarah and Lily at our beach surprise, my kids headed straight for the waves. Equally exciting for them. So I grabbed my cute little Lily and headed down to the waves with my kids.
Anytime we visit a beach, my kids love to run away from the wave before they get them.

This wave was a pretty big one and knocked Camden right over. The look on his face is full of fear and the unknown. A little panic set in. He did not like being knock down and was nervous for a bit and stayed away from the waves.

Luckily, Uncle David has no fear for the waves and helped Camden get the courage to play again with the waves.
Me, my sister-in-law, Sarah and baby girl Ruby in the tummy. (Sydney wants David and Sarah to name the baby Ruby.)

Sweet girl cousins playing in the sand collecting seashells, building sand castles and just having plain old fun.
Here's a picture of me trying to get my brother jump when the waves come. Hummmm....not so much into the jumping. I totally think this picture looks like I was photo shopped walking on water.
Ahhh...there we go!

Sarah LOVES the beach and spent many of her summers at her family beach house in South Carolina as a kid. This girl knows how to play at the beach. She helped the kids catch tiny sand crabs as the waves would hit the beach. They would watch for bubbles and dig really fast and deep and you get yourself a sand crab!
Sarah also got Sydney to be a little more adventurous with the waves. They would swim out a bit and then ride the wave in. Sydney did great and while having a big nervous smile on her face.

Sydney relaxing and getting warm after her afternoon swim in the ocean.

Camden loving the challenge of trying to get out of the hole dad put him into.

Sydney taking a turn. Camden and Lily covering Sydney with sand.

Lily doing what she does best. Being super cute!

A perfect way to start off our weekend of fun with my brother and his family.
