More Fun At The Mall!

So after Sydney's performance at Nordstrom, we hit a few of our favorite stores. My kids BEGGED to go to the Apple store. They love playing with every electronic "cool" device they have. My kids sure are growing up in a much different world than I had. I remember thinking it was fun fake playing the big arcade games at the grocery store. Playing along with the demo game and not even using any money.

Camden could have sat there all day if we had let him. He wouldn't even look up or realize we were calling his name. Off in his own Apple world.
I was pretty surprised how crowded the store gets. I had been shopping in another store before I caught up with my family and quickly realized why the rest of the mall was empty. They were all in here!
If Camden didn't need to use the bathroom, which he was jumping up and down towards the end of our visit while playing with the iPad, I know we'd still be there.
A few memories of things I remember becoming available while somewhere between 6-25ish that I know will shock my kids are: (not in any order)
1. Our first computer. It was an Apple IIe. I think I was close to Sydney's age.
2. First color print in newspaper.
3. Microwaves. They were huge!
4. Remote controls to TVs. Which I used one to hit my brother in the head with. Sorry Dave!
5. Stand alone speaker phone you hooked to your telephone. It was it's own box.
6. Answering machine that used small tapes to record the messages.
7. Cordless phone with a metal antenna!
8. Somewhere around 18, my Dad let me use his work cell phone and it was HUGE!
9. Air conditioning in cars.
10. Key less entry to your car.
