Our sweet Sydney has been asking to get her ears pierced for quite some time now. We wanted to make sure this was something she really wanted and not just a fleet of fancy. We felt like she was responsible enough to keep the piercing clean. One of her arguments to convince us was that she has had over 100 allergy shots so she is sure she can handle a little poke to get earrings. She has a good point! It would be nice to get something fun in return for all the pokes she has had.

Ears getting marked for alignment. By this point Camden was walking around the store trying to convince dad that there are boy ear rings in the store. Dad's response "Camden this is a girl store". Camden shows him some lady bug ear rings "Dad, look boy earrings". Dad replies, "Camden lets go to a boy store next".

The look of waiting for pierce.....

The shock! First one, ouch that does hurt a little bit...

Getting ready for the second one and knowing it will hurt a bit.

Whew, now they're in and i can't wait to see.

Don't my ears look so pretty now...

Later that night she said.."I just remembered my ears are pierced and it makes me so happy...I forgot for a minute!"

She was so excited that she got her ears pierce that she wanted to call Anna. Anna got her ears pierced around a year ago and Sydney has been asking that long. While waiting for the call to go through, her hands were shaking and had the biggest grin of
excitement on her face.
