Sydney was asked by her piano teacher if she would like to play the piano at Nordstrom in front of people to raise money for kids who can't afford lessons. She said, "Yes! Can I play two songs?"
So with that Sydney was asked to wear her very best and practice her two pieces everyday.
She played two duets with teacher "Little Blue Bird On My Shoulder" and "Lemonade Stand." She did a great job. I'm very proud of how much Sydney has learned in such a short amount of time. It's very cool to sit back and watch her eyes read music seldom looking down at her hands playing each note. It makes me smile.
