The games go for 90 minutes or 6 innings (I could be wrong on the innings) either way, you start to notice the kids begin to loose small bits of interest. A little goofy thing here and there, but they are quick to jump right back into the game. In this little string of hitting events shows exactly that.
Camden's second solid hit of the game!
Here's a little of what I was talking about earlier. He's in the game...waiting for the next batter.
At this point I noticed that a batter was up and struggling hitting the ball. Camden no longer has eye contact.
Hmmm...off the base.
Hey this looks fun to jump on!
I'll do it again!
OH! The batter hit the ball....and off he goes.
It's a race for 3rd base even though the Phillie's player could have tagged him out.
Whose going to get there first?
Pheww...It was a tie and Camden was safe!
Ready to run home, but wait....
What do I see in the dirt....?
My foot is still on the base, but I want to touch that white stuff.....
*Snap* the ball was hit and off he went.....
He he "slides" into home. Well, he really hasn't learned how to slide, but he ran really fast and tried to slide and sat on the plate. It was cute and funny!
