Christmas Morning!

It's Christmas morning and everyone is up and ready to see what Santa has brought. Camden is again giving me the best for the camera. Anson told me that when he woke up Camden the first thing he said was, "Daddy, I'm not scared. Daddy, I grewed up last night and I'm a grown up now." Camden believes that every night you grow and that is why you have to sleep. He always shows me his legs and how big they have grown. Well, I guess he went to bed as a little boy on Christmas Eve and woke up a grown-up on Christmas day.

Before we get started, the kids always find a pair of Christmas socks that Santa has given to them to keep those toe nice and warm for the day.

Sydney was thrilled with all of her gifts. She had been asking for a pink Hello Kitty sewing machine, but Santa brought a blue/green one. She said that was just fine. I asked her if she new how to sew and she said, "No, but Liz does and she will teach me." Often when we go over to Liz's home, she has her sewing machine out and working on something cute. Sydney has been eyeing a sewing machine all year. She also got a paint set, How to Sew book (more for me I think), sewing kit with fabric, games, books, and a Webkin named Snowflake.

Camden received he long awaited marble track. He has been asking for one everyday for year! He also received Teck Deck skate boards with the needed accessories?!? He loved both gifts!

Here is cute picture of my sweet niece, Lily, happy with her gifts. Books, balls, doll and play table.

Do you remember how much fun it was to go through your stocking? My kids really got into it this year. It took them about twenty minutes to go through everything and as each item was pulled out an, "ohhhh or ewwww" would follow.

My bro, sister-in-law and sweet Lily bug! Since Sydney was born, David and Sarah have made the effort to spend the night at the grandparents home for Christmas. We love that they make the efforts to do so, it makes Christmas morning perfect!

Camden's FAVORITE present from the stocking was the Whoopi Cushion. I can't tell you how much fun the kids had all day playing with it. Camden would blow it up, put it on the couch, cover it with a blanket, come and find you, ask you to come here, and tell you to sit. Of course you could see the big lump under the blanket, but when you sat down and the cushion made the sounds, he would drop to the ground with the cutest and silliest hard laugh. He did this over and over and over and over. It's too bad that he decided to jump on it and it popped. There were some big tears running down his face.
It was a great day with lots of fun Christmas memories. 'Til next year!
