Family...babies...cousins!

One of the reasons whey we went to Utah this year for Christmas was for the Hatch Family Christmas party. Everyone was there. Ten brothers and sisters and their spouse and all of their children. Sydney told us several times that, "There are twenty one adults and nineteen grandchildren in this house."

Isn't this a great picture! This is Grandma Hatch's seven new grand babies that were born in 2008. They were all so cute!

If you needed something to do, Grandma Colleen collected baby pictures for all forty of us and displayed them on a board. Our job to figure out what baby picture went with what person. It was not easy, but really fun.

Of course there was a wonderful dinner prepared for the family. I was really impressed that we were all able to fit in the kitchen for dinner. It was tight, but it was good tight. It was fun to be with everyone at the same time.

After dinner and to close the evening, there was a short talent show for anyone that wanted to share a talent followed by the nativity. The grand kids really liked this part and did a great job. The seven babies were dressed up as farm animals and were told by the script to be background animal sounds. They played their part perfectly. Sydney was asked to be an angel and Camden was the the inn keeper. Again a little stage fright, Anson helped him play the part.

The evening was really fun and glad that everyone was able to attend.
