So while I was at my parents home during the holidays, I decided to try on my wedding dress for the kids. I remember and have pictures when my mom tried hers on when I was Sydney's age. I remember thinking that my mom looked sooo pretty.
I got the same reaction from Sydney. She was sweet with the biggest smile, ewwwed and ahhhhed about the dress. She was very girly and giddy.
I asked Sydney if she wanted to be the pretty princess like mommy, she nodded yes. She was so thrilled and could not wipe that sweet smile off of her face. She loved showing grandma and got a little sheepish when papa saw her.
All I can say, "I love this picture!" Look at my sweet princess!
I know that she is only 6-years old, but I know when the day comes many, many, many years down the road for her princess day, I will look back and remember this picture and feel like it was just yesterday when we played dress up. Don't grow up too fast......Love you my sweet Sydney!

I remember ooohing and aaahing over my mom's wedding dress, too. How fun. Do you think Sydney will want to wear your dress (years and years down the road) when she gets married.
I wish I could still fit in my dress! One day!!!! What a fun thing to do with your daughter though!!! It will be something you'll always remember.

My sister used my wedding dress and had it sized to fit her when she got married, so sadly I don't think I will ever be able to fit in it again :(
I did the same thing with my girls trying on my dress when they were Sydney's age. I told them all about my day as a princess in the temple and how magical it all felt to me. I will always treasure those moments!!!
Sophie saw Syndey and said, "Look Sydney is a princess!" Great pictures!
