Silver Guys

Back in April, my brother David, his wife Sarah and cute little niece Lily came for a visit. While they were here, we took a trip to San Fransisco for the day. We were walking down by the pier and came across a couple of silver painted street performers. Anson and I have seen them before on previous day trips, but Camden hadn't. It was funny to watch his expressions as we approached them. He looked confused, worried and intrigued all at the sametime. As he was getting closer to them, Camden witnessed a spectator go up and put some money in a cup they were holding. Before we realized what Camden was doing, he walked up to the silver guy, reached into the cup and took ALL of the paper bills they had and started walking away.
The audience standing around started laughing and Anson and I looked at each other and called out Camden's name trying to get him to come back. The boy took the money and bolted out of there. The performers were laughing, a little concerned about their money, but found humor in the whole thing. Anson had to run and catch Camden and explained to him he needed to give back the money. He was a little embarrassed, but in return he got a lollipop from the silver street performer for returning the money.

At that point the performers started to dance and Camden joined right in. I can't tell you how funny the whole experience was. Camden was the star of the show, stole money from the cup, returned the money to the cup, got a treat and got his groove on. After walking away from the silver guys, Camden startled us again and yelled out "I see a hooker over there!" What a kid!!
