Tracy always has a Halloween Parade and trick or treating from store to store. As you can see, my kids are a butterfly and a bug catcher again this year. I'm
grateful that their costumes fit and they got to use them again. We went with our friends Anna, a chef, and Carson,
calamari, and Sydney's friend, Emma, dressed as Taylor Swift.

Every thing is fun and good times when you get to have a lollipop. After trick or treating, we had to wait awhile for the parade to start so to keep the kids happy....it was candy time!

Here's a picture of Camden pouting for some reason and me trying to be
sympathetic.

After the parade, you could wait around for the costume contest. They had three different age groups that competed. All the children in their age group walked around in a large circle while 5 judges looked quickly at each costume. Afterwards, there was some more waiting......

....and more waiting. Don't they looked thrilled and excited?

Well...the wait was worth it! In a sea of parents and cute kids in costumes, the judges called for the bug catcher! He won! He was excited! Poor Sydney had a struggle understanding why Camden won and she didn't, but did get over it. Camden won a gift card to Miss
Millie's, a school supply store.

It was a fun night and a great way to kick off the Halloween season!

I love those costumes! I'm glad you got to use them again, and that Camden won! Plus the bored/waiting pictures are hilarious.
bored and waiting picture is so funny! frame-able even!
I just love those costumes! Congrats to Camden! Tell Sydney that if I were in charge I would of definitely picked her to be the winner. She looked so pretty.
I am glad Sydney and Camden got to use those adorable costumes again. I have enjoyed looking at them in costume on my October calendar. Way to go, Camden!
Those are the cutest costumes ever! You put all of us to shame with all your creativity!
There is something wrong with a picture for a halloween parade in shorts! AAAHHH! I need cold weather.
