Carving Pumpkins

Here are a few pictures of our annual pumpkin carving for Halloween. The BEST and ONLY way to carve a pumpkin is by using an electric jig saw. It is so much easier and quicker than the old way. I have been carving pumpkins this way since I was Sydney's age.
Both kids really enjoyed the carving this year. Neither of them minded getting their hands dirty and had fun cleaning out the pumpkins.

For the last several years, the Reese family have joined us! They too, are converted electric jig saw carvers also. They agree that it is the best way to carve a pumpkin.

Sydney drew up a couple of pumpkin faces this year that were pretty good and we used. Sydney's pumpkin is the far left and Camden's the far right.

Wow! Using a jig saw to curve pumpkin faces is a great idea. How did you ever think of that?

Oops, "curve" should be "carve."
