Sydney woke up last week with the BIGGEST fat lip. She had been complaining the day before that her lips, sides of her mouth and chin were sooo dry. So that night after she went to bed, I put some cream on her poor lips and face. The next morning....ouch! Her upper lip was extremely swollen and she could barely move her mouth. This picture does not do the swelling any justice. Her lip looked so much worse earlier that day. We put a lot of Abreva on her lips and it seem to really help. The swelling slowed way down and the cold sore popped out pretty quickly. Look at the pain in her eyes.....poor girl!

Poor Sydney. The last thing that poor girl needs are cold sores. I hope it clears up quickly.

what caused it?
both anson and sydney had dry lips the day before and the weather had changed....i'm guessing enivormental stuff caused this one.
