Sydney enjoyed the rest of Star Student week. Remember that she does not have homework from this school, but keeps insisting that she does A LOT of homework when she gets home. One of the days she decided to write another report about sign language. She said it was fun to teach the class how to sign the A,B,C's, but that she had to go really slow for them. Also that day, she brought in her favorite books, all three of her Fancy Nancy collection. 
On her last day, she was lucky to bring in her favorite little dog, Chloe, and her big friend Lauren to class (Chloe is hard to see in the picture, but she is there.) She brought Chloe in because she matches her stuffed dog AND that she is a hypoallergenic dog that doesn't make her allergies or asthma trigger. She was so excited and so were all of the kids. She had a great week being the Star Student. I hope that she can step down gracefully from her shinning moment this week. She is and will always be my shinning little star!
