Sydney was so cute as we were walking to school. She had a little hop to her walk and was very excited. The only worry she had was that she wouldn't be able to remember everyone's names.
As soon as we got to the entrance they swept her away through the gate. I didn't even have a chance to give her a hug or a kiss goodbye. It was probably for the best. It was so fast there wasn't anytime to make the goodbye moment emotional. I was lucky that I had my camera ready or I wouldn't have been able to capture these pictures.
She walked through the gate with a big smile, excitement and confidence!
One last wave as walks into her classroom. She looked very happy and not nervous at all. I can't wait to hear how her first day went when I pick her up this afternoon. P.S. While doing this post, I have had six phone calls from friends asking how it went this morning. Thank you for thinking of me!
