Sydney's prayer the other night went something like this:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you bless our food.
Thank you bless we can be nice to each other.
Thank you bless our day.
Thank you bless that I can make good choices so I can stay on green at kindergarten on my "fird" day of school.
Thank you bless we can sleep good so we are not tired.
Name of Jesus Christ amen."
I have always thought Sydney's prayers have been very efficient. She does the thank yous and the blessings in the same sentence. Smart girl!

She told me last night that she wants to be on green all week so she won't get in trouble like the two boys on red. I asked her if she is learning anything besides being a good listener and I can't seem to get too much out of her about other things she might be learning. It seems that being on green is the most important thing for her right now. She told me Mrs. Walker asked her to sit between two noisy boys so they could be good. She was very proud of this. I know that going to three years of preschool and attending church three hours a week have taught her to be obedient and a good listener for long amounts of time. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for her that she stays on green for a whole week. It seems she would be very devastated if she didn't.
