Today was Camden first day of preschool. I can't tell you how excited he was. He kept saying, "I'm going to preschool like Sydney did. I am big now." He has so badly wanted to go to school just like Sydney has for the past several years and even more so this last week since Sydney started kindergarten.

Camden goes to preschool on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. The first item of business they do as they walk in is sit down and start learning to write their names by practicing different writing strokes. Today's was making a straight line down from the sky through the fence to the ground.

He did great and had a smile on his face! He was very proud of himself. After writing he moved on to puzzles while they wait for the rest of the kids. At that point, it was time for me to leave. He said bye and said he would listen, not run unless he was outside and be kind to his new friends. (I had been coaching him all morning.)

Right at 11:30 they were ready they were done with school! He ran to me and said, "Where's Sydney? I want her to pick me up like I did." Ohhh, I was sad for him. He wanted his big sister to see him come out of school like he has done for the past three years. Hopefully, there will be a day that she doesn't have school and she will be able to do so.

When we got home, he had to tell a few people about his first day. He said that he learned the letter "M" and it makes the sound "mmmmmmmmmm" while rubbing his tummy. He also learned the sign for the letter. He had M&M's for a snack, played with friends and learned to sit
criss-cross applesauce on the floor. He loved it!

He's so cute! Zach starts next week and I'm starting to feel a bit nervous, even though I know he's ready. It seems amazing to me that they are teaching them to write their names already! He looks like he's doing great, holding the pencil just right and everything!
